Universal is leaning into the appeal of human stunt performers to promote the film in other ways, too, launching a Fall Guy-themed stunt show produced by Leitch’s company at its Hollywood theme park to run through May 19. With these twins, Poe imagines what would happen if the connection between mind and body were severed and assigned to separate people.

Like her brother, she's burdened with the weight of the Usher dynasty. As the Usher family patriarch, Roderick is the CEO of big pharma conglomerate Fortunado Industries. After Roderick shows interest in Victorine’s revolutionary new heart technology — still in its testing phase — Victorine bends the rules of clinical trials to start testing on human subjects. Roderick Usher is the patriarch of the Usher family and CEO of Fortunato Pharmaceuticals.

Greenwood has a Flanagan connection after starring in 2019's Doctor Sleep, as well as previously starring with Carla Gugino in Flanagan's thriller Gerald's Game. The actor, who played Sturge in “Midnight Mass,” is cast here as the fitness guru husband of Tamerlane Usher (Samantha Sloyan). The character’s name is taken from a Poe story about a man who has a doppelganger. The name Verna, is, of course, an anagram of “raven,” Poe’s famous bird.
